Our Compass: Mission, Vision & Values
To provide psychosocial support and advocate for the rights of cancer patients while promoting environmental and social justice. We empower marginalized communities in Kenya through education, awareness, cancer research, and prevention, fostering dignity, resilience, and hope for survivors, caregivers, and all affected by cancer.
A world where every individual, especially those affected by cancer, can access quality healthcare, live in a healthy environment, and enjoy their human rights without discrimination.
Compassion
We approach every individual with empathy, kindness, and a deep commitment to supporting cancer patients, survivors, and their families. We believe in the power of care and understanding to heal both the body and the spirit.
Empowerment
We empower cancer patients, caregivers, and marginalized communities with knowledge, resources, and support, enabling them to take control of their health and advocate for their rights.
Collaboration
We believe in the power of partnerships. By working closely with local communities, healthcare providers, and other organizations, we create lasting solutions and amplify our impact in cancer care, prevention, and advocacy.
Equity
We are committed to ensuring equal access to cancer care, education, and support for all individuals, regardless of their socio-economic background, gender, or location. We work tirelessly to reduce disparities in cancer outcomes, particularly in marginalized communities.

We embrace creativity and continuous improvement. Whether through research, advocacy, or service delivery, we are dedicated to finding innovative solutions to improve cancer care and raise awareness.

Things You'd Like to Know About

Discover what makes Fadhili Cancer Support Organization a transformative force in Kenya’s cancer care landscape.
Our name honors Fadhili Ngare, a founding member who lost his battle to prostate cancer in 2018. “Fadhili” means “Aid, Compassion, and Kindness” in Swahili – embodying our mission to support cancer patients with dignity. His vision for grassroots impact drives our work in Kenya’s most marginalized communities today.
We uniquely integrate Healthcare & Research, Environmental Justice, and Human Rights Advocacy into one holistic model. This interconnected strategy addresses not just medical needs but also environmental cancer risks and systemic barriers – creating sustainable change that 78.5% of late-diagnosis patients desperately need.
We pioneered Kenya’s first cancer-environmental justice initiatives, planting 45,000+ trees to combat climate-related cancer risks. By educating communities on pollution-to-cancer links and advocating for clean policies, we prevent cancer before it starts – especially in high-risk areas like Kibera and Machakos.
Since 2019, we’ve conducted 40+ free screening events, vaccinated 20,000+ girls against HPV, established 11 survivor support groups, and provided health insurance for 212+ patients. Our reach spans 10+ counties including Nairobi, Mombasa, and Busia – proving that targeted action saves lives.
